At The Berkana Foundation, we believe that every mother deserves to be cared for during the vulnerable postpartum period, regardless of her circumstances. Our nonprofit is dedicated to supporting newly postpartum mothers throughout New Jersey by providing thoughtfully assembled self-care items and essential comfort products that promote healing, dignity, and hope.

The transition into motherhood can be overwhelming, especially for women experiencing housing insecurity. A soft robe, cozy slippers, quality toiletries, skincare products, or a simple gift card can provide more than physical comfort—they can remind a new mother that her well-being matters. Through the generosity of our supporters, we help fill a critical gap by delivering these meaningful items to women who often have very little for themselves.
